EdicionesLimitadas_ is Iván Montero’s personal project and hobby focused on the art of photography.

In 1986 I began my career, first in my father’s small graphic design studio and then in his advertising agency in Barcelona. I enriched my knowledge by studying Image and Sound, and Audiovisual Communication, and I began to study Architecture and Industrial Design, which I never finished because I was fully dedicated to what is my fantastic profession.

My obvious closeness to the profession allowed me to acquire knowledge in all disciplines related to advertising, graphic and editorial design, photography, drawing and illustration, video and final art and printing techniques, among other areas.
Over time I specialised in Creative and Art Direction, working for other design studios, Advertising and Communication Agencies and Audiovisual Producers, where I carried out campaigns and actions for international companies in multiple sectors, both independently and in the direction of work groups.
I complemented my activity teaching classes on Multimedia Design and Production in private study centres, later I carried out collaborations as a storyboarder and cartoonist for the animation production company Cromosoma, where I held the position of Director of the 3D Department, mainly for the children’s animation series «Las Tres Mellizas» as well as for the pilots of the series «Miniman», «Juanito Jones» and «Tom, your great friend».
My professional career took me to different Spanish cities: Valencia, Madrid, San Sebastian and for a short time I settled in the French city of Dijon.
In 2008 I founded the Creative Agency «El Circo de la Publicidad» as Manager, Creative and Art Director in the capital of the Costa del Sol, but at the beginning of 2013 and due to the sad death of my father I decided to take some time off.

After the break, I returned to the profession, making some occasional collaborations with some of the most relevant Agencies and with small companies already known, until in 2015 I decided to restart all my activity under the brand that today accompanies me «CollaggeStudio» establishing myself in the tranquility of Granada; from there I develop my profession independently while I work as an external Graphic and Creative Consultant for other Advertising Agencies as well as more exclusively for the group of winter tourism companies CEROGRADOS.

Thanks to my father, I experienced the passion for advertising photography from a very early age, and over time photography became one of my great hobbies. Repeated requests from friends and acquaintances to acquire enlargements of some of my photographic pieces gave rise to the idea in 2016 of making this artistic discipline accessible to the public in a very limited and exclusive way.

EdicionesLimitadas_ is a space where to acquire photographic works made exclusively in black and white, both in digital and analogue format, giving value to the artistic work. I make my own analogue reproductions in the traditional way, in a chemical laboratory (darkroom), preferably using ILFORD papers, and working for enlargements and framing with the best suppliers in digital photographic printing, using the techniques used by the most prestigious exhibitions, obtaining a superior quality photographic reproduction.
